After Samsung's Gear Fit, Here comes Microsoft's Smartwatch

Recently Samsung unveiled its Gear Fit , which comes with Note 3. TO compete Samsung's Gear Fit , Microsoft has planned to bring "SmartWatch" to the market. With this Microsoft has avoided itself from being left out in the wearable tech wars! Interesting! Recently there were rumors that Microsoft will be launching its new Smartwatch but Forbes found out that the rumors were true. Microsoft is indeed coming out with a watch that has sensors and can measure heart rate!

Microsoft Smartwatch
This time Microsoft has made a completely profitable and effective gadget. While the Gear Fit was compatible only with Samsung's Note 3 , Smartwatch wins the battle as it fits in for all Windows Phone ( Natural of course ) , iPhones and Androids too!

Microsoft Smartwatch to Sync with iOS, Windows and Android; to Come with Always On Heart Rate Monitor
With Microsoft joining the Smartwatch scene an interesting flavor is added to the mix.According to Forbes’s sources, the Microsoft smartwatch will be tapping into existing technology and expertise from the company’s Xbox Kinect group.

Also, the Smartwatch wont look more different with a full color touchscreen.Naturally, an app will go together with the Microsoft smartwatch.

The big question is what else will the smartwatch have other than heart rate monitoring? Microsoft needs to know that the buyers wont be satisfied with just one feature. They already seem to have known it and a group of professional engineers from Kinect are working on that.

The rest is upon us to wait and see what comes out of the mix!

Woman Fined for an Innocent Facebook comment!

Today, Facebook is the biggest social networking giant. People can easily get in touch with others and communicate. It is the mordern era in which people share their feeling via Facebook with the intention of communication. But we all can't interpret others' feelings in the correct way. But still what one person says may feel completely different for the other.

One woman is really working hard on how to phrase her comments on Facebook because she has been fined for her comment on a group page. The woman is a member of the Facebook group "Whalon Lake Dog Park" out of Bolingbrook, Illinois.

YOU BETTER BE AWARE.....!!!!

Here’s what her initial comment said, according to CNET:

“I was feeling bad that I haven’t bought a pass and been bringing Ginger there but I’m pretty glad I haven’t. So not going to worry about it until later. I hope all the doggies get better soon.” Doesn’t seem so bad, right?

It turns out an employee of the park district saw the woman’s post, showed it to a supervisor, who eventually made sure that the woman got sent a $50 citation for using the park without an updated permit. To make matters even worse, no one even checked to see if she’d even been to the park with her dog (which she hadn’t)!

Ultimately, she was able to convince them she hadn’t been to the private park for over a year, and they cancelled her fine, but let this be another warning to all Facebook users: be careful what you post online!

Solar Roadways - The Future of Roadways

WHAT IS A SOLAR ROAD?

A photovoltaic solar road is a road surface that generates electricity by collecting solar power with photovoltaics. This is not to be confused with a variant concept of a "solar road" installed in Avenhorn, a village in northern Holland, by Ooms Avenhorn Holding AV, that uses asphalt and tarmac to absorb the sun’s rays. The idea of Solar Roadways Inc's concept is to replace current petroleum-based asphalt roads, parking lots, and driveways with photovoltaic solar road panels that generate renewable energy that may be used by homes and businesses, and with any excess energy perhaps stored in or alongside the road.
Parking lots, driveways, streets and eventually highways are all targets for the panels.

To make you understand what exactly are Solar Roads, take a look at this video below-

The company ran low on capital so from Earth Day (22nd April) to May 31st , they are in the midst of an indegogo crowdsourcing campaign to raise the funds needed to gear up for production of their SOlar Road Panels.

WIth 3 days more to go , the crazy plan to cover the nation's road with solar roads raises $1.5 Million.

Anyone who noticed Google's Logo change?

Google changed it's Logo last week and did not make any official announcements. You may have surfed the net over the past week but you may have not recognized the change.
Actually, all they did was shift the letter around my a few pixels.
Still confused because you did not notice the change.

This pic by Ron Amaedo posted on Google+ can clear your confusion-

Logo change
This change was first noticed by a sharp eye on Reddit.
I am personally shocked how could someone even notice such a small pixel-change!
What a huge difference isnt it?

Later one of the Google worker replied that the company was happy after people observed the change and appreciated it. He also said that the main intention behind the change was to make the logo more sharper so that systems with low resolution could also view the logo in a better way.
